—Family Adoption:

Many individuals, families, and groups have sought out needy families to adopt during the Christmas season.

• Salvation Army's Angel Tree Program: 2010 online site opening on November 2nd, 2012
• Ada Jenkins Center: Ada Jenkins has a vetting system for identifying families in need
• Lydia's Loft: Bev Clayton at Lydia's Loft has helped vet many families in the community to receive gifts from families in our church
• FBC Medical/Benevolence Committee: This committee can be contacted for referrals of needy families in our own church.
• A Child's Place: Ministry to Homless children in the Charlotte area
• Lake Haven Angel Tree: Our church normally has an Angel Tree in our sanctuary for families from the Lake Haven Community
